Family

“Plans fail when there is no counsel, but they succeed when counselors are many.” Proverbs 15:22

As I went through today, I couldn’t help but think of this one sentence. You know like a catchy song that you can’t get out of your head. Unlike most teenagers (yes I still consider myself that, I am just 19.), I talk to my parents, a lot. I sometimes have five to six different conversations with my mom in one day and my dad too! Grandparents, aunts and uncles as well! I have a very tight nit family. We are all in each other’s business and of course we all love it! But I can’t help but to think my life would have been so different if it wasn’t for them. I have a huge support group that basically has made me who I am today. One of my older cousins, Abby, is actually pregnant right now (about to have little Miss Ryla Cate any day). New life is so special! And I cannot help but to feel blessed for this little girl! She has so many people that are ready for her arrival and can’t wait to welcome her into the world. I know so many people in today’s society do not have what I have or what Ryla Cate will have. I thank the Lord everyday for my family. My advice is to love the ones that you have been given. Life is not what you have, it is who you have.
