So again I haven't written anything in awhile. I promise I'm going to try to be better about this.
So it's 2013 and March...
I'm graduating from Texas A&M in around 50 days.
So what does a senior girl in college think about on a daily basis? Lets see. We will do a top 5.
Number 5 - I hate this class. Texts a certain number of close friends and proceeds to complain about it.
Number 4 - Tshirt, shorts messy hair. Ready to go...anywhere.
Number 3 - He's dating her? What??
Their engaged too?! Ugh.
Number 2 - I need to find a job.
Number 1 - Who wants to day drink with me?
Oh and countdown to Chilifest - 14 days! I will probably do a few post on this.
Stay tuned!
Be Small but Approachable.

Here I am.
So basically I haven't posted a blog in six months. Sorry followers, friends and frien-emies.
From April til the end of school was hectic, crazy and uneventful.
Summer was like a wild roller coaster of summer school, working at the ranch and an array of emotions as friends graduated from college, left for internships and study abroad.
And here we are in the 4th week of my last fall semester as an undergraduate and nothing really all that significant has occurred. Aggies lost their first game in the SEC and won against SMU this past weekend. Whoop! This past weekend was ring weekend and everything that entails, happened to me and the small group of lucky individuals who got to witness what a great party we can throw with anyone we meet.
So here I am in class not paying attention to the Philosophy professor because he is a boring hippy and I learn more by reading the notes than listening to him ramble for 50 minutes.
With nothing else to report, I bid you a farewell until next time.
Peace & blessings y'all!

...And a month later
So being gone for a week from school was really tough and I finally got all caught or it feels that way. Got the first round of tests out of the way and went to Colorado this past weekend for a little bit of National Beef Speakers Bureau training. It's been a heck of a month.
Just a little tid bit on mine and Ashley's way home.
The weather was bad in Houston and in College Station so we didn't know if we would even be able to make it home. Oh but we were so ready to be in our own beds after a long educational week! After the crying babies were out of our hair on the plane from Nashville, I felt a little better but not by much.
Weather reports did not look promising but we got on the janky little plane to College Station. Turbulence galore. I seriously thought we left some plane parts in Houston.
As we are flying over the greater B/CS area, we are getting knocked around like crazy! Ashley was saying her last goodbyes and announcing something's that were quite entertaining but not allowed on my blog. :)
After we made our way around the airport 4 times we finally landed! All safe. Little did we know that we were up in the air with a tornado. It touched down in Snook soon after we landed.
Crazy how an instant can change your life. Much like the weather in Texas!

#CIC12 #NCBA #ANCW #TACW Part 2
Helloooo followers!
If you can guess, I have been going crazy with Twitter at this convention during the week!
my handle: @callie_mc Follow me!!
The past two days have been a complete blast!
We started out Tuesday with numerous American National Cattlewomen committee meetings. It was really awesome to see all of these women come from across the country to work together to promote the beef industry. It warms my heart so much to see there are women before me that have the same die hard passion for this industry.
After a long day of meetings, it was a perfect ending to the day by eating a great BEEF dinner at the ANCW Foundation dinner.
A look at one of our dinner plates:
Today we had Cattlemen's college, ANCW general meeting, and listening to Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell (a Huntsville, Texas boy) share his inspirational and patriotic story at the NCBA first general session!
Texas Aggie Cattlewomen also got a great shout out from CBB when announcing Jill Ginn on stage! Totally great to see her up on stage and deliver all the good news about what we do!
Plus, we got to hang out with some great collegiates from across the USA! Of course, those OSU girls (and some boys) were my favorite!
Feeling perfectly at home right now.
Wish us luck and say a prayer tomorrow as we compete in the NCBA Team Marketing Contest!
Peace & Love kids!
